Doodles of Quotes from books I love

I love reading inspirational books - non-fictional stories of real people who have gone through a remarkable journey, and were generous enough to share their experiences with the world. So much wisdom gets encapsulated in a number of pages, a whole lot of years worth of lessons learned become tangible. I try to absorb as much as I can from each book, so I always write bits and pieces of it in a notebook - words that I really liked.

I will share with you those quotes here, I wrote them in a doodle/scrapbook sort of way. Will start by a wonderful book called “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom. This book is about the time the author Mitch Albom spent with his former professor Morrie Schwartz when the latter was diagnosed with a fatal disease. Despite his illness, Morrie was determined to embrace life, and teach till the very last second no matter how tough the disease was on him. The remarkable thing was how Morrie stayed so positive and generous even though he was watching himself slowly deteriorate. The book holds valuable lessons on how to live. It’s a book so worthy of reading and I would recommend it to everyone. Hope you enjoy the quotes till you read the book :)
